How EZ Research collects, uses, retains, and deletes research participant data.
We collect information you provide during onboarding, study participation (survey responses, chatbot transcripts, sorting tasks), and administrative activity required to operate the platform.
Data is used to administer approved studies, support qualitative and quantitative analysis, and improve platform reliability. Secondary use requires an active data use agreement for your organization.
Organizations may enable anonymous mode, which stores a stable pseudonym in session metadata instead of displaying identifiable labels in researcher exports. Direct identifiers remain protected under role-based access controls.
Organizations configure retention policies that define how long participant responses are kept. You may request deletion of your account data from your profile. Approved requests are processed according to the organization's retention schedule.
Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have rights to access, correct, export, restrict processing of, or delete your personal data. Use the in-app data deletion request flow or contact us directly.
